IIT Delhi has invited applications for admission to its Abu Dhabi Campus for the academic year 2024-25. the admission will be based on JEE Advanced scores and CAET scores. Check details below.
IIT Delhi has commenced admission to its two inaugural undergraduate programs at its Abu Dhabi campus. Admission is now open for four years of Bachelor of Technology (BTech) course in Computer Science and Engineering and four years of Bachelor of Technology (BTech) course in Energy Science and Engineering. Admission to IIT Delhi’s Abu Dhabi campus will be determined by the Combined Admission Entrance Test (CAET) and JEE Advanced examinations. The CAET is a freshly introduced test by IIT Delhi, tailored specifically for the UAE region.
The commencement of these two UG courses is scheduled for the academic year 2024-25, with an initial intake of 30 students for each program. For each discipline, 1/3rd of the total seats are reserved for UAE nationals, 1/3rd for UAE residents/International Students, and 1/3rd for candidates qualifying the JEE Advanced 2024 exam.
The CAET exam, administered by the JEE Office at IIT Delhi, is scheduled for June 23, 2024, across various centres in the UAE. The CAET 2024 would be non-computer (pen-paper) based.
This test is designed for UAE residents, including both UAE nationals and expatriates, as well as international students. Registration for the exam is available until June 10, 2024, via the portal – admissions.abudhabi.iitd.ac.in/application/caet-2024.
The language of the CAET will be English. The test will consist of three question papers of 90 minutes duration each on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the following time slots: Physics (8:30-10:00 AM), Chemistry (11:30 AM -1:00 PM), and Mathematics (2:30-4:00 PM). Appearing for all the papers is compulsory.
