The National Law University (NLU) Delhi will conduct the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2025 on December 8, 2024, from 2 PM to 4 PM, for admission to its 5-year BA LLB (Hons.), one-year LLM, and Ph.D. in Law programs. Candidates must strictly adhere to the guidelines issued by the university, including timely reporting to the exam center, carrying all essential documents like the admit card and valid photo ID, and avoiding any unfair practices during the examination.

AILET 2025 Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates appearing for the exam should read the instructions mentioned on the admit card carefully. Some of the instructions for the exam day are:
- Candidates should report their allotted test centre at least an hour before the exam timings i.e. by 1 pm, so as for the necessary verification to be done by the exam centre officials.
- Candidates should carry at least one valid photo Id proof along with their admit card for AILET 2023 such as PAN Card/ Aadhaar Card/ Driving License/ Ration Card/ Passport etc. (in original as well as one copy).
- They should also carry their own pens (at least two) and one HB pencil for filling OMR answer sheet. The pens should be ballpoint and colour should be black or blue.
- Also, candidates should avoid taking any study material or items like calculator, mobile phone, digital watch, iPad, and jewellery to the exam centre.
AILET 2025 Exam: Items to carry
NLU Delhi has instructed candidates to carry the following list of items on the day of the All India Law Entrance Test 2025:

- Any valid Photo I.D. Proof and photographs
- Transparent Water Bottle

AILET 2025 – Items not allowed inside the exam hall
Communication devices such as cell phones are not allowed.
Electronic gadgets like digital watches, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, and earphones are prohibited.
Other banned items include pagers, health bands, and calculators.
Prohibition of Unfair Means
Candidates appearing for AILET 2025 must strictly refrain from adopting unfair means such as cheating, disturbing fellow candidates, or engaging in any illegal activities during the exam. Those found violating these rules will face immediate disqualification. It is strongly advised that candidates comply with all instructions provided by the exam invigilators to ensure a smooth and fair examination process.

AILET 2025: How to mark OMR Response Sheet and Answer Booklet?
AILET 2025 Exam Instructions
- Handling the Question Booklet and OMR Sheet:
- Do not open the plastic-sealed envelope containing the Question Booklet and OMR Response Sheet before 2:00 PM.
- Writing and Shading:
- Use only Blue or Black Ball Point Pen to fill Roll Number details and shade circles on the OMR Response Sheet.
- Ensure to sign and fill in all required details, such as Roll Number and Question Paper Booklet Number, in the designated spaces on the OMR Sheet.
- Exam Pattern:
- The test consists of 150 marks with 150 Multiple Choice Questions in English.
- Each correct answer awards 1 mark, while 0.25 marks are deducted for every wrong answer.
- Answering Guidelines:
- Select the most appropriate answer for each question.
- Shade the answer circle completely, leaving no gaps. Incomplete shading will not be evaluated.
- Indicate only one answer per question, as multiple responses will be considered incorrect.
- OMR Sheet Care:
- Handle the OMR Sheet with care to avoid folds, wrinkles, tears, or staples.
- After the exam, return the original OMR Sheet to the invigilator and retain the carbonized copy for reference.
