DU offers 79 undergraduate programs and 183 BA course combinations across 69 colleges, with nearly 71,000 seats available for admission.

Delhi University has announced that its academic session for 2024-25 will commence on July 21st, with a tentative start date of August 1st for all courses. “However, we are looking at various situations but definitely we would commence our academic session by August 1 for all the courses,” said Delhi University Registrar, Dr. Vikas Gupta.

The announcement comes on the heels of the launch of the University of Delhi’s Undergraduate (UG) admission policy for the 2024-25 academic session on May 28. The university has introduced a new “Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS)” for its admissions process. This system is part of a comprehensive plan to streamline and standardize admissions across its various programs and colleges.

The first phase of the CSAS registration began on May 28, 2024. This phase involves a straightforward registration process where candidates need to submit their personal details and Class XII academic scores. An essential requirement for applying to CSAS (UG) 2024 is the CUET (UG) 2024 application number.

The university’s admission process is designed to be merit-based, relying heavily on the scores obtained in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) (UG) 2024.
