The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has begun accepting applications for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) 2025. The application process started on October 1, 2024 and candidates can register without incurring a late fee until October 31, 2024. For those who miss this deadline, applications will still be accepted with a late fee until November 8, 2024.

The UCEED exam itself is scheduled for January 19, 2025.providing candidates with ample time to prepare. Following the examination, results will be released on March 7, 2025. This exam assesses a candidate’s creative and analytical abilities, making it essential for aspiring design students.

Eligibility criteria:

For UCEED 2025, the eligibility criteria are as follows:

1. Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed their Class 12 (or equivalent) examination in any stream (Science, Commerce, or Arts) in 2024 or 2025. Candidates appearing for their Class 12 exams in 2025 are also eligible to apply.

2. Age Limit: General Category: Candidates must be born on or after October 1, 2000, allowing those up to 24 years old to apply. SC, ST, and PwD Categories; Candidates in these categories should be born on or after October 1, 1995,enabling applicants to be up to 29 years old.

3. Number of Attempts: Candidates can appear for the UCEED exam a maximum of two times in consecutive years.

4. Score validity: For UCEED 2025, the validity of the score is typically one year.
