Know All The Important Details And Dates For XAT 2025 Registration, Exam, Admit Card Release etc.

XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) is a national-level test conducted every year in the first week of January. It is held by XLRI on behalf of Xavier Association of Management Institutes (XAMI).

XAT scores pave the way to MBA admissions in the prestigious B-schools of the country like XLRI, IMT Ghaziabad, XIMB, SP Jain, KJ Somaiya, TAPMI, etc. Apart from 11 XAMI member institutes, over 150 other renowned academic institutions accept XAT Scores for their management programmes.

XAT 2025 Registration

Check out the basic details that you should know before registering for XAT here:

• XAT 2025 registration link is released on 15th July 2024.
• Applications will be available to fill out online only.
• Registration, notification, eligibility criteria, fees, and information for XAT 2025 will be released in XLRI, Jamshedpur official website.
• Once application fees are paid an e-receipt will be generated, non- generation means XAT registration payment failure.
• Application will be rejected if any document is found to be false.
• Scanned images of photograph and signature will be required to upload in registration form.
• XAT 2025 registrations will end in last week of November 2024.

 How to apply for XAT 2025

1. Go to xatonline.in.
2. Open the candidate registration page.
3. Now, provide the required information and complete the registration process.
4. Now, click on the existing user login option.
5. Provide the requested login details.
6. Fill your application form.
7. Upload documents.
8. Make payment of the exam fee.
9. Submit your form and save the confirmation page.

Last year, over 1,35,000 candidates had applied for the entrance test.

What is the XAT 2025 exam date?

• XAT 2025 exam date is January 5, 2025. The exam date was officially announced by XLRI Jamshedpur on July 15, 2024. The exam will be held in over 70 cities across India. Candidates will have to select the test city for exam centre allotment in the XAT 2025 application form

When will XAT 2025 registrations start?

• XAT registration process 2025 started from July 15, 2024. The registration process will go on till the first week of December and candidates will be able fill the exam form at the XATonline.in website.

Is XAT tougher than CAT?

• Both XAT and CAT are exams of high difficulty level, and have their own challenges. While CAT has extremely difficult RC passages, XAT has Decision Making section which unique and requires business acumen to solve questions. XAT also has GK and Essay Writing. However, since XAT is conducted after CAT, aspirants can build on the experience from CAT to improve their performance in XAT.

How many B-schools accept XAT score for MBA admission?

Apart from XLRI Jamshedpur, XAT score is accepted by over 1000 B-schools in India. Some of the top MBA colleges accepting XAT score are XIMB- Bhubaneswar, IMT-Ghaziabad, GIM-Goa, TAPMI-Manipal, IRMA-Anand, MICA-Ahmedabad, Great Lakes Institute of Management, LIBA-Chennai and KJ Somaiya-Mumbai.
